What? This thing is still up? Maybe I will continue to use it, now that I have more free time, but hopefully I will be filling that free time up with activities rather than computer useage.

Find more videos like this on Patriot Act and martial law

Philly was fun. Ill give a real update when I have some more free time. It seems that every single day my social life gets better and better, while my time spent at work gets worse and worse. I think its almost time to find a new job with less responsibilities.

I wish Joe Camacho understood how the internet worked so he could find out the secret as to why my head is so big.

Tragedy/Fucked up

Yesterday was a great day. I woke up really early, went surfing, and found a friend of mine that i haven't seen since i was like 15 there. Looking back it was actually probably weird that we both recognized each other, because the last time we saw each other we looked really really different, but whatever, it was nice to have someone to sit in the water with because the waves were getting sloppy.

After that I headed home and took like a 20 minute nap. Pat and Kyla called me to go to ihop around like 11:45 I'm guessing, but it somehow took me forever to get there. I brought him this backpack that he really liked of mine, which he seemed really happy about it. I started heading towards the beach with them to go visit his brother or something, but Matt called me and told me he was at my house and we had to leave to head to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn was weird, there was like a 12 block street fair going on. We walked through the fair for a little, The air was polluted with the smell of confectioners sugar and marinara sauce mixed. When we got to the park that Fucked Up was playing, there were hipsters everywhere. I am super jelly of anyone who resides in Brooklyn, its so young and carefree out there. Fucked Up played a few songs, they were cool. Most memorable songs were Crusades and David comes to life, because some guy picked me up by my ankles and i was just basically standing on a pile of hands. It was wild, i hope that revolver or spin uses one of the 200+ photographers that were taking pictures. How crazy would that be?

We walked around some more, went to fiaccos, went to a record store where I bought a dope tribe record, did some other bullshit with some boring details, and then finally went to go see tragedy. Blacklisted and tragedy both played amazing sets. I kinda started writing this entry like 2 days ago and then my a.d.d. kicked in and now i have no idea where i was going with this.

The brakes on my car failed yesterday, and i rear ended this Asian lady. I am fine, but I wish she wasn't. At least my bike is in perfect condition, right?

God dammit fuck lady gaga

I was kinda down with this hoe until i saw this. She acts like she is the female version of Andy Warhol. Everything about this video makes me so angry. Playing the piano with her foot? seriously? C'mon now....

Inmates are weird. I think that the "lady" in the video is actually a dude because she is balding, or maybe she just did a ton of meth. Whatever, rest in peace the king of pop.

Ten minute update

Ive been having trouble finding the time to update this, which is a good thing. I'm getting a haircut soon so lets see how much recapping i can do in the proceeding 10 minutes.

Recently i have been working a lot, but really good hours. Mainly 9-5 or 8-4, but i can leave early once my work is done, which leaves me plenty of daylight to frolic around in. I went to the bethpage historical village with Meghan and Lauren, although it was closed, they let us in anyway. That was probably the highlight of the past week. All of the houses were locked up but i climbed in through a basement door and found a skeleton key, so we got to explore rooms that you are not normally allowed to go in. Also we saw a pig who has GIANT testicles, some baby lambs (so cute) and a few fornicating cows.

The bottom picture is of a authentic Abrham Lincon campaign poster

My sister graduated college so i spent some time in Vermont before and after the ceremony. Vermont sucks, i got some cigars, pictures of myself taken at K-mart, and climbed a hotel building. Fuck Vermont.

I also got an iPhone, which is by far the best of my recent purchases. I feel a lot more organized now that i have it, and when people call me it will actually go through to my phone, which is the main reason i cancelled my contract with T-mobile.

I went to verses last show Friday with Larry and Johnny. We sat in 2 hours of traffic on interstate 95 but still got there in time to see all the bands i wanted to see. Shipwreck played a new song that was insanely heavy. Verse breaking up sucks, but I'm glad i got to see them one last time.

I also had a few dreams in which cantos was the protagonist. The two that are most memorable were the one where i sung third eye blind to her, and the one where i was an army general and said to my troops "WE MUST DESTROY CANTOS BEFORE CANTOS DESTROYS US"
I should really have left like 5 minutes ago. whoooopssss.

Check a bitch out

(sorry its hard to read, just read it from right to left)

Life has been awesome as of lately. I recently found out that i won another sales contest through my job, and will be going back to California this summer. The brand that is sending me is called "RVCA" which is awesome because this is the first time i will be going to a headquarters for a company that i actually wear. The outline of the trip says that i will be taking a tour of the RVCA headquarters, Skating with the RVCA team on their private mini ramp (Ed Templeton and Leo Romero both skate for RVCA), Surf with Alex Knost, and Jam with Matt Costa and a special guest. Ill probably be going around august, but as for now i don't know anything.

Tons of other fun stuff has been going on. I have been a little to busy to update this, so ill give you a quick list of things that i have been doing before i go downstairs and wake up Keith.

-Went to the Bronx zoo

-Hung out in Brooklyn a few times

-Played 2 very intense games of kickball

-Played one not intense game of kickball

-Got this statue:

-Went to the aquarium

-Sold a massive amount of clothing on eBay

-Went to Biancos to see Lindsey Jennings, but instead saw a horror movie victim (ask me about this, it was crazy)

-Pat cut off a chunk of his finger

-Walked around Port Jeff

-Realized how good i am at climbing things (seriously)

-Learned a few new songs on the Ukulele

-Went to the MET with Rob Fiacco and Keith

-Saw a band i really like

-Bought their records:

I know I'm forgetting things, but as for now that's all you get. In a few days i will be getting a iPhone, so that's something to look forward to. Ill be in Vermont Friday through Sunday because my sister is graduating college, so maybe something cool will happen there.

For Patrick (Jupiter Napex)

Every wednesday i spend my day in brooklyn, usually with Fiacco, Pat, Kyla, and this time Justin and Jamie came along. Our days are spent going to the zoo, getting food, and going to parks/stores/other places. Its always fun, but i dont really want to tell you the story about what i did that day. Insted i would like you to go to www.patrickglass.blogspot.com read about his new comic entitled "Jupiter Napex". I got to see it first hand, and it looks awesome. It is hand silkscreened using a 4 color process and contains all sorts of other cool artistic comic book things that i don't even understand. I have yet to find out when it will be released to the public, but when it is you should go out and find a copy of it. I was honestly blown away at how good of a job he did, the prints came out so clean, and the color scheme and illustration looked amazing. So congrats to Pat, and phooey on everyone else you scheming nerds.

STZ

I feel like a lot of people forgot about Sabertooth Zombie, or just got caught up in the hype because they had a tie-dye shirt for sale when they played Long Island. Either way, they have new tracks posted, and a new cd coming out May 26th. The tracks are killer, do yourself a favor and listen to them here

Pat's birthday & a hundred other things

(Masks we found at kiosk)

Yesterday i went to Brooklyn with Mr. Rodney to visit Fiacco, and see Pat & Kyla. It was Pat's 24Th birthday, and the birth of his first modern life is war tattoo.

I woke up around 11, drove to get Rodney, and headed towards Brooklyn. Nothing exciting happened, except i learned how impossible it is to count how many raindrops are on a windshield at one time. I need to focus on driving when i am behind the wheel, and not every stupid little thing that is going on around me.

Once we arrived, we went into a few thrift stores, which had some cool stuff. I got a brown and yellow trucker hat that says "Vita" on it, as well as a lime green terrycloth polo shirt. I made an offer on this sword that i saw, but twenty dollars is obviously out of the question for an authentic, made in America, 1998 bent Japanese sword. whatever.

We walked to Pennylicks so i could get Mody a cupcake, and then American apparel. On the way back we ran into Lee from trash talk, which was really weird. We got Pat & Kyla, and headed towards Soho to visit a few cool shops. One of the places they took us to was called "Evolution". They sold animal and human bones, as well as fossils, stuffed animals, crystals, and other odd things. I snapped a few pictures of my favorite finds. I would love to come home every day to a human skeleton standing in my living room. The cool thing about that place was that most of the skeletal figures were once inside of living organisms.

We also went to the Burton store, a Japanese wholesale shop, and a shop called "kiosk", which looks like it was ran out of someones apartment. They sold odds and ends that they picked up from all around the world. Weird little things with cool stories behind them. After all that, we walked back to my car to find that i had a $115 parking ticket waiting on my windshield. I apparently parked in a commercial parking zone, but there were no signs posted and everyone else on the block got a ticket. We headed to crif dog for some delicious veggie dogs, and then back to Brooklyn to drop pat off at his tattoo appointment and go run around. Watched some simpsons, drank some tea, ran around, found a cell phone, returned a cell phone, then headed to Pat & Kyla's apartment to play ukulele, drink more tea, play accordion, become a catalyst for jumping cats, and be exhausted. I shortly left and embarked on my voyage back to long island only to be accompanied by the sounds of Rodney snoring. It seems like there is always something to do in Brooklyn, i always look forward to visiting my friends who live there.

Recent Life

I finally scanned some pictures, so i posted them in my past blogs. Some of them are worth checking out, others not so much.
Since i got back from California i don't think i have sat around bored once. Here are some pictures to give you a vague look into what i have been up to lately:

I got this auto harp from a thrift store.

I stole this from fiacco's apartment because i thought it was funny. Street mosh.

This arrive in the mail (finally). The album itself is good, but the album art is amazing. The cover is holographic, so the 2 pictures that i uploaded are what you see when you look at the record from different angles. I bought both colorways of this record.

Some goats that we played with at the ecology site.

A birthday cake we made for rob.

California Trip

I spent the past Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in California skateboarding, snowboarding, and doing tons of other fun things. I didn't want to post an official recap until i had pictures, but the 2 kids who brought cameras have yet to get back to me, so ill do a text update and then hit you with some pictures later.

Tuesday morning I woke at 4 a.m. and had the man, the myth, the one and only, tad cox drive me to J.F.K. international airport. After a few hours of complete and utter chaos, i boarded a plane toothpaste, cologne, and inhailerless. Airport security is a load of dump.

The flight there was kinda shitty. I sat near a group of Hasidic Jews who needed to complain about every single thing as loud as they could. i eventually fell asleep, but when i arose they were still complaining, only 5 decimals louder.

When i finally got to L.A.X. i got my snowboard, backpack, and called the representative from Neff head wear to come pick me up. He drove me to go meet up with some Terry Kennedy, Adam Dyet, Sean Neff, and some Zumiez employees. I was pretty phyced to find out that they were all really fun to be around, because the kids I went to the DC headquarters with were pretty boring. We raced go-karts, hungout at the Neff headquarters, got mad free shit, skated for a while, then designed a shirt for Neff that will be sold in Zumiez nationwide.

Tk had to bounce, but Adam, Sean, and the rest of the Zumiez crew headed to the Powell headquarters to checkout the premier of their new video "Fun!". the video was pretty dope, plus there were mad little nuggets skating around. Fuel TV interviewed us, but i cant find the interview anywhere.

When we left the Powell wear house we headed towards in and out burger, then back to the hotel. I roomed with two other Zumiez employees, one named Eric from Austin Texas, and one other dude who i forgot his name (whoops, sorry dude) but was really cool. Kyle, Chris, our enter to win contestant Mitchell, and his mom all stayed in other rooms.

The next morning we got picked up by the ThirtyTwo crew, which was composed of Alyssa, Erin, and some other girl (whoops). They drove us up to bear mountain. The drive there was crazy, the road to the mountain is like a snake run, and you drive to such a high altitude that you actually drive through clouds. We stopped and peed, then arrived at the mountain. We meet up with JP Walker, Cook (i think he owns 32 or something, I'm not sure) and a bunch of other heads. Snowboarding was awesome, conditions were great and I learned a bunch of new tricks. Afterwards JP and Cook had to do some interview so we all chilled in the lounge before heading back to the hotel.

At the hotel all of us (except Mitchell and his mom) decided to hop outside into the hot tub, which is when Erin got the idea to pull the cover off the pool and jump in. It was the most disgusting, freezing, horrid looking water ever, but all of us except for Chris did it, mainly because Chris is a nu-metal bitch (just playin, much love). She then decided to tell us if we jumped in and swam one lap that she would give us one item from 2 of the companies that sole tech owns (Emerica, Thirtytwo, Es, Altamont, and Etnies). Eric, the other kid who i cant remember his name, and I all did it. We showered, then headed towards some bullshit Italian place, where i found out how much I like NEW YORK pizza. west coast pizza sucks. word up.

We went bowling, that was mad fun. midway through we placed a bet between Eric, Kyle, Cook and myself that whoever has the highest score gets 20 from all the losers. Kyle is a cocky son of a bitch, so we all just decided that if anyone other that kyle wins we don't have to pay up. Eric made the most epic comeback and beat kyle, then he tried to pull the whole "you cheated" card, which didn't work. JP left, and everyone started to get tired, after I played Eric in pool, we bounced back to the hotel to party, and eventually pass out.

I was so bummed on leaving California, everything about that place is so great. But, now I'm home, back to the same routine, awaiting my next chance to go out there. I got a lot of cool shit and have so many cool stories that i forgot to post, and I am so grateful that i got the opportunity to go. Ill hit you all up with some pictures from it soon, but as for now I need to crash. I'm so exhausted.
